Molly Secours has been writing, speaking, facilitating discussions and making videos about racism, white privilege, reparations for slavery and disparities in the criminal justice system since 1996.

March 2006
Faces Of Tenncare: Putting a Human Face on Tennessee's Health Care Failure: Wrote, produced, and edited a 13-minute short documentary which explores how the loss of medical coverage has emotionally, physically and financially devastated the lives of thousands upon thousands of Tennesseans. The short film features portraits by photojournalist Joon Powell, narrated by Minton Sparks with vocals and music by Maura O'Connell, John Prine and Steve Conn.

July 2005
A Way Out: Produced, co-directed and edited a 17-minute Youth Voice Through Video (YVTV) narrative. The piece explores the dilemma of a talented basketball player pulled between the influences of a classmate who has succumbed to the temptations of easy money and a studious friend who offers to help him boost his grades for college.

Spring 2004
A Conscience Decision: Produced, co-directed and edited a 15-minute narrative with youth which takes a peak at teen romance and what might happen when the proposition is made to "take the relationship to the next level."

September 2003
Deadly Silence: co-wrote, edited, and produced a 9 1/2-minute video addressing the impending execution of death-row inmate Philip Workman and his appearance before the TN State Clemency Board where evidence of perjured eyewitness testimony was presented and ignored.

The Things We Do: wrote, produced, and edited a 4 1/2-minute video for Oasis Center which highlights the major programs offered to the Nashville Community.

July 2003
Why Not? Homeownership for People with Disabilities: a 14-minute documentary co-written and edited for TNCED (Tennessee Center for Economic Development) highlighting disabled people and the obstacles facing them as they attempt to acquire a home of their own.

June 2003
Welcome To My Hood: 30-minute documentary written, produced and edited in conjunction with juvenile court ordered at-risk youth and Genesis Mentors. The youths  invite us into their homes and their worlds to inform us and challenge our assumptions as we hear from them about the challenges facing them on the street, in their neighborhoods and in their homes.

May 2003
Su Cuento Continua: Your Story Continues: a 13-minute documentary written, directed and edited for Oasis Center which chronicles a month long program for immigrant and refugee teenagers who meet new friends, learn about being a citizen and are exposed to a variety of career choices.

March 2003
Close Shave: a fifteen minute short feature written, produced and directed in conjunction with juvenile court ordered at-risk youth. The story centers around a young barber shop owner who uses poor judgment and places his trust with "Mr. Nogood" and appeals to his friends for help.

February 2003
Breakin' It Down with Eric Evans- a 15-minute motivational video featuring a conversation between Genesis founder and mentor, Eric Evans and a group of incarcerated youth. Evans covers sex, drugs, violence, and respect for women.
